Blue Sea Retreat Cottage is situated on the beautiful coast of Nova Scotia’s north shore. We are located between Pugwash and Tatamagouche on the Sunrise Trail (Hwy #6).

The site is very private, and has a spectacular view of Saddle and Amet Islands. Sunrises are fabulous (as are the sunsets) and a half-mile of shoreline is less than 100 feet from the front deck for your walking pleasure.

The cottage is the perfect retreat from the everyday stresses of modern life. Away from the hustle and bustle, you will find yourself surrounded by trees, flowers and the warmest ocean water in the area. All this just a short stroll down a private path.

The view is spectacular from any vantage point as most windows face the water 100' away. In season you can watch the lobster men of Malagash and the Northumberland Strait as they tend traps close-by off shore. They catch some of the finest lobsters in the world... you have to try them.

The cottage really is an ideal place for a family vacation or romantic escape.
